Are You a Member?
To create a more accurate Membership Roster, we are changing
the status of those who are six months or more behind with
payment of dues, from that of Member to Newsletter Only. Please
do not assume that if you received this newsletter, it means
you are still a member. We do keep lapsed members on our mailing
list, but when attending lectures, they must pay admission
of $15 instead of $10. Check the Expiration Date on your membership
card to see if you are current. If not, you can easily renew
your membership by mail or at the next lecture you attend.
About Centerpoint
Centerpoint groups, called “coteries,” are continuing
in three locations in Mission Hills, La Mesa, and Carlsbad.
These are discussion groups (usually bi-weekly on Saturday
mornings) guided by structured study materials (books and
recorded lectures) based largely on Jungian concepts and published
by The Educational Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
For more information, Lois Lighthart will welcome your call
at 760-704-1144, or your e-mail at loislight@lcglen.com.
Volunteers Needed
Lecture Recording
Are you savvy in sound technology? Friends of Jung is in immediate
need of a volunteer to record our lectures and fill orders
for CD’s as they are received. We have our own equipment,
we just need the right person to operate it!
Converting Past Lectures from Tape to CD
FOJ has a large collection of recorded lectures from years
past and we plan to convert these from tape to CD format for
sale via our web site. Volunteers who would like to work on
this project are encouraged to leave a message at 858.587.4651
or via e-mail at info@jungsandiego.com.
Managing Publicity
We need a person or team to get the word out about FOJ lectures
and activities, including preparing press releases, sending
them to media outlets (local radio stations, newspapers),
printing posters and posting them.
To volunteer please call Lois Lighthart at 760-704-1144
or e-mail her at loislight@lcglen.com.

Friends of Jung Library
The FOJ library has been housed for some time at the Alliant
International University campus in Scripps Ranch. Due to construction
at the campus, the University is temporarily reducing the
space available for their library. As a result, parts of their
collection, including the FOJ collection, will be placed in
storage. Because the duration of this situation is indefinite,
we cannot tell when the collection will again be accessible
to members. Finding a new home for the FOJ Library is a possibility
and we welcome ideas for a potential temporary or permanent
space for this valuable collection.
For directions and library hours,
please call the library at 858. 635.4511.
Lecture Recordings
Audio recordings of each FOJ lecture can be pre-purchased
on the night of the lecture for $10. and will be mailed to
you shortly afterward in CD format. In addition, you may order
a copy of any past lecture in this season’s schedule
by sending a check for $10. per lecture, payable to The Friends
of Jung, to:
P. O. Box 2363
Del Mar, CA 92014-1663
